Jaywalking, close calls a common sight on game day

Albuquerque police say the man who was killed outside WisePies Arena aka The Pit after a UNM game Monday was on a crosswalk when a car hit him. While he was using the crosswalk, jaywalking and near accidents seem to happen every time there’s a sporting event.
