Investigation finds New Mexico educators with deficient licenses

LAS VEGAS, N.M. (AP) – A newspaper investigation has determined that several New Mexico educators and administrators have instructional licenses that they were unqualified for.
A 10-month probe by the Las Vegas Optic reports that seven people were given deficient licenses by the state education department’s Professional Licensure Bureau.
They include a Santa Fe principal and a Luna Community College administrator.
