Inmate escape raises questions about MDC security problems

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – First inmates take over the yard at MDC, nearly a month later an inmate uses a key to remove his shackles and escapes from a transport bus.
Security problems at MDC keep happening, and KRQE News 13 wanted to know what’s being done about it.
According to an arrest warrant there was loud music and lots of talking when an inmate kicked out a window on the bus Wednesday and vanished.
It has some county commissioners asking “what’s going on?”
