Infant injured in Albuquerque ambulance crash

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police say an infant had to undergo emergency surgery after a crash Tuesday.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the child was being transported by ambulance when it the ambulance was struck by a truck. APD says the truck was traveling west on Mountain through a green light when the ambulance entered the intersection. The ambulance was knocked over and the infant was extracted. The infant was then transported to UNM Hospital.
