ICE detains 48 migrants across 3 New Mexico cities

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement reported on Wednesday that 48 migrants have been detained following a week-long ICE operation in three New Mexico cities. These arrests have advocacy groups concerned for the safety of mixed-status families.Twenty of those arrested have "criminal charges or convictions for a serious criminal offense," such as homicide, drug trafficking, or DWI.
