I-40 eastbound closure scheduled Sunday for construction

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Transportation issued an update Sunday morning about construction on I-40 eastbound.
The update said that the two right lanes from the I-40 eastbound entrance ramp at San Mateo to just past the eastbound off-ramp at Louisiana will be closed until 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The eastbound on-ramp at San Mateo will also be closed until 4:00 p.m.
Crews will be performing asphalt work.
