I-40 eastbound at Rio Grande reopen after accident

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Monday morning, police responded to an accident with injuries on I-40 eastbound that blocked the three right lanes.
The accident occurred at I-40 East at Rio Grande.
Traffic was backed up from exit 153 at 98th to exit 157 at Rio Grande Blvd.
The area has since reopened.
