Hundreds attend Bacon Festival

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Eager bacon lovers got their fill of bacon flavored foods during the Southwest Bacon Fest.
Hundreds attended the event at Balloon Fiesta Park on Saturday.
From fiery bacon to bacon funnel cakes, 50 restaurants and food trucks shared their unique bacon dishes. Fifteen breweries and four bands were also at the event.
Event goers also got to take part in a bacon cooking contest and a bacon eating contest.
