Huge New Jersey fire that burned for 20 hours is contained

HILLSBOROUGH, N.J. (AP) — Firefighters have contained a massive warehouse fire in central New Jersey that burned out of control for nearly 20 hours and generated enough smoke to be detected by weather radar and force some school closures.
Officials said Friday morning that the blaze didn’t pose an imminent public health threat. It started at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Veterans Industrial Park.
Schools are closed Friday in Hillsborough because of the blaze.
