House GOP tweaks Senate budget plan, increases cuts to UNM
SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – House Republicans have unveiled their plan to plug a nearly $600 million budget hole in the state.
It comes on day four of the special session called by the governor, and the Republican plan softens the cuts on K-12 education while slamming the University of New Mexico hard.
