House expected to vote on Real ID fix

SANTA FE (KRQE) – The governor and GOP’s proposal to fix the state’s driver’s license problem is scheduled for a full vote in the house Wednesday.
To comply with federal requirements the measure would stop issuing licenses to illegal immigrants, and replace them with permit cards.
Opponents argue the measure allows the state to send personal information to the feds.
