Homicide detectives investigating after person was found shot and killed in northwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating after one person was found dead with gunshot wounds in northwest Albuquerque Wednesday morning.APD says residents called 911 after finding a dead body around 5 a.m. near the entrance of the Volcanes Commons apartments at 6901 Glenrio Rd. NW. Officers arrived on scene and determined the victim had a gunshot wound. Homicide detectives were called to investigate the scene.
