Homeowner blames ART-related water line work for pipes bursting

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) –  A homeowner off of West Central believes the water pipes in his yard burst thanks to water line relocation work related to the Albuquerque Rapid Transit project.
Paul Valenica owns a home on 64th near Central and Coors. He says last Thursday, his tenant’s water was turned off as crews performed construction work on Central nearby.
The construction is being done by the Water Utility Authority, moving water lines in preparation for ART.
