Home prices rise in February over previous year

It's been a rollercoaster ride for homeowners and buyers in a market long riddled with foreclosures and short sales, but 2016 could be a whole new day. In February, 2015 the average home in Albuquerque was selling for $199,196. This year, the average sale is $212,172 -- an increase of 6.5 percent.
