Holm suffers her first UFC defeat

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KRQE) –  If she made it to the end of the fifth and final round, Holly Holm would have more than likely defeated Miesha Tate by decision.
With about a minute and 30 seconds left in the final round, Tate choked Holm out, submitting her through rear naked choke.
The loss is the first for the now 10-1 Holm and gave Tate her first UFC Bantamweight title in three tries.
The former Strikeforce Champion was just recently thinking about retirement.
