Holiday wish lists set up for Albuquerque zoo animals

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – As you go about your holiday shopping this year, the BioPark says don’t forget about the animals.
The zoo has set up Amazon wish lists for elephants, big cats and other animals. Some of the desired items, pig-shaped pinatas perfect for carnivores to rip into, and trash containers to make massive ice treats for the cats.
The zoo says the gifts enrich the animals’ experience by promoting natural behaviors.
