Hobbs residents cleaning up mess caused by flooding

HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – People in Hobbs are busy cleaning up after they got a shocking amount of rain over the weekend.
Areas around Hobbs picked up between three and five inches.
Flash flooding led to several road closures and neighborhoods almost completely underwater. Heavy wind was also a factor.
Pictures show a carport collapsed on two cars beneath it. Power is still out in some areas.
