Highlands handled on homecoming

LAS VEGAS, N.M. – Homecoming game did not go the way the Cowboy fans were hoping. The Cowboys lost their fourth straight and second conference game, losing to Fort Lewis 49-7 on Saturday in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference football.
Turnovers were a big issue for the Cowboys (0-4, 0-2). They had one interception and two fumbles, letting the Skyhawks gain good field position and score two touchdowns off those three mistakes.
Cowboy quarterback Keith Moore threw for 124 yards, including an
