High wind, blowing dust prompt westbound I-10 closure

LORDSBURG, N.M. (KRQE) – A New Mexico interstate has been closed due to high winds and blowing dust.

According to NM Roads, westbound I-10 in Lordsburg is closed.
Drivers are being rerouted on US 70 into Arizona.
Due to the closure, drivers should expect delays. Drivers are also being advised to reduce their speeds and use caution.
