Heavy ART construction work gets underway in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Heavy construction work on the controversial Albuquerque Rapid Transit project is underway across Albuquerque.
Monday there’s major work from the westside at Coors and Central all the way to Nob Hill area. That means lane closures along much of Central, as far east as Louisiana.
The city has promised at least one lane will stay open in each direction throughout the construction.
The $120 million bus line will run down the middle of Central in dedicated bus
