Gun battle erupts during Albuquerque car break-in

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Bullets flew at an Albuquerque home when the homeowner opened fire on three suspects trying to break into his vehicle.
APD was called to the 13300 block of Sunset Canyon NE around 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning for reports of multiple shots fired. When they arrived the homeowner told officers a gun battle had erupted during a confrontation with three men who were attempting to break into his car.
