Guardrail to be placed where bus rolled

DURANGO, Colo. (KRQE) – The section of road where a Durango school bus rolled over is getting a guardrail.
La Plata County road crews are having to widen the road first to allow room for the guardrail.
It’s the same stretch of road where more than 40 elementary school children on a bus were injured when it rolled down a thirty to forty foot embankment last month.
Police say the driver, William J Farley, was reaching for his whistle to quiet the students when he crashed.
