Governor Martinez declares State of Emergency

SANTA FE (KRQE) – Governor Susana Martinez declared a State of Emergency Sunday in response to the severe weather conditions.
The declaration enables counties to order and pay for additional resources needed to help with the crisis.
According to the Governor’s Office, officials are still asking for no travel in the hardest hit counties of: Colfax, Union, Harding, Mora, San miguel, Quay, Guadalupe, Torrance, De Baca, Roosevelt, Curry, Lincoln, Chaves, Lea, Eddy, Otero, Socorro, and Sa
