Governor Martinez: 31 homes, 4 other structures destroyed in Timberon Fire

OTERO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Crews are still trying to get a handle on the Timberon fire burning about 15 miles south of Cloudcroft.
Gov. Martinez said Thursday that the fire has burned 31 homes and 4 other structures. She also directed the activation of New Mexico Emergency Operations Center to assist in the response to the Timberon Fire.
