Former student armed with gun, knife arrested at Espanola Valley High School

ESPANOLA, N.M. (KRQE) – School officials say a former Espanola Valley High School student who was armed with a gun and an knife was arrested at the school Thursday.
This comes as students returned to classrooms after the school was closed Wednesday because of a threat posted to social media earlier this week.
The lockdown started at 1:00 p.m. Officials say no one is allowed to enter or leave the school. At this time extra police are at the school.
