Former priest pleads not guilty to murder charges

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A former priest, who spent years in New Mexico, pleaded not guilty on Monday to murder.
John Feit’s bond was set at $1 million despite his lawyers arguing 83-year-old Feit should be released because he has kidney disease and bladder cancer.
He’s charged with the murder of Irene Garza, a woman who had gone to Feit for confession the day she was murdered in 1960.
Investigators have long suspected Feit, but he was just recently charged.
