Former APD officer expected to take the stand again

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – One of the former Albuquerque police officers on trial for the murder of a homeless camper, is expected to take the stand again Wednesday as he tried to defend himself.
Dominique Perez first took the stand Tuesday, testifying that he shot James Boyd in the Foothills two and a half years ago because Boyd posed a deadly threat to a K-9 officer who got dangerously close.
