Firefighters work to fully contain Moon Mountain Fire

RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) – Cooler temperatures Friday will likely help firefighters continue their work to fully contain the Moon Mountain Fire burning in Ruidoso.
According to Ruidoso spokesperson Kerry Gladden, crews were happy to see snow on Friday morning.
Dozens of the 200 firefighters headed home Thursday. There are currently about 65 people still mopping up.
The 125 acre fire is now 70 percent contained. Cooler weather and lower winds Wednesday night and Thursday morning helped crews ho
