Firefighters' Union reacts to AFR city council resolution
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – After Albuquerque Fire Rescue's chief spoke out against a city council resolution she says makes staffing more difficult, the Firefighters' Union is speaking up in support of the proposal. Currently, each AFR truck must have a minimum of two firefighters, all of whom have some training as EMTs, intermediates, or paramedics.The resolution would change that to two paramedic firefighters.
