Firefighters battle house fire in northeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque home is a total loss after it was engulfed in flames.
Firefighters say heavy fire and smoke were coming from the home off Bellamah NE. Crews say flames reached a hundred feet and burned the trees in the backyard.
Firefighters were forced to fight the blaze from an aerial ladder using thousands of gallons of water to put the fire out.
Neighbors say it was a scary situation.
