Fire crews continue to contain Escondida fire, structures no longer threatened

SOCORRO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Officials are still battling a fire from Friday in Socorro County.
New Mexico State Forestry says the Escondida Fire has reached 524 acres and is 78-percent contained.
Structures are no longer a threat, according to officials.
Local and federal resources are no longer battling the fire; Returning Heroes Wildland Firefighters and New Mexico State Forestry engines are on scene.
