Final preparations underway for Albuquerque’s Freedom Fourth event

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque is just hours away from the start of one of the largest Fourth of July celebrations in New Mexico.
Thousands are expected to pack Balloon Fiesta park for the “Freedom Fourth” event.
The annual Freedom Fourth celebration kicks off at 3 p.m. Monday, and vendors are making last minute preparations.
There will be 30 food vendors offering barbecue, burgers and shaved ice, plus a microbrew garden featuring 14 local breweries and wineries.
