Fatal crash closes Gibson in both directions

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Both eastbound and westbound Gibson have been shut down at Valencia due to a fatal crash, according to the Albuquerque Police Department.
Officer say that one individual was injured and transported to the hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
The crash is currently under investigation and police are asking drivers to avoid the area.EB and WB traffic shut down on Gibson between Madeira and Valencia.Seek alternative route.
