Farmington, San Juan approve join sobering center

FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) – Officials in New Mexico have approved a center that will provide temporary shelter for intoxicated people and substance abuse recovery services.
The Daily Times reports that the Farmington City Council on Tuesday approved a two-year agreement with San Juan County and local medical centers for a sobering center and intervention program.
