Ex-New Mexico corrections officer sentenced in drug case

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) – A former corrections officer in New Mexico has been sentenced to more than three years in federal prison in a drug smuggling case.
Prosecutors say 39-year-old Luis Delgadillo of El Paso, Texas was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Las Cruces to a 40-month prison term followed by three years of supervised release.
