Española Valley Schools Superintendent resigns, put on administrative leave

ESPANOLA, N.M. (KRQE) – Española School Board President Pablo Lujan confirmed on Wednesday that the Española Valley Schools Superintendent has resigned.
Bobbie Gutierrez’s resignation will go officially into effect on May 6 and the school board voted 3-2 to accept that resignation.
The board also voted to place Gutierrez on leave until May 6.
Myra Martinez has been appointed interim superintendent.
