Emergency winter shelter opens for young adults in Santa Fe

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A new Santa Fe shelter is focusing on getting young adults off the street and the help they need.
For more than 30 years, Youth Shelters and Family Services has focused their resources on housing children ages 10 through 17. Now, they’ve opened an emergency cold weather shelter for homeless young people ages 18 to 21 and their hope there is to help them find a permanent home.
