Elementary school in Rio Rancho postpones first day of class

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – Next Monday is supposed to be the first day of class for one elementary school but now the kids will get an extra three days of summer vacation because of a construction problem.
This summer the Rio Rancho School district set out to replace the air conditioning system at Enchanted Hills Elementary but didn’t finish in time. In fact, the units are still sitting outside in the parking lot.
