Downtown grocery opening soon, but no additional traffic signals planned

Downtown Albuquerque’s long-awaited grocery store is scheduled to open in 10 days. Anticipating an uptick in traffic, the Silver Barelas Downtown Neighborhood Association has been fighting for traffic signals at two Silver Avenue intersections, one on First Street and the other on Second.
