LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) – A Dona Ana County sheriff’s deputy has been placed on leave after a report says he put his hands around a suspect’s throat while handcuffed.
KVIA-TV in El Paso reports Sgt. Jason Gleason was placed on leave following the arrest of Victor Jaime on suspicion of drunken driving.
