Dog Head Fire area residents thank authorities

TAJIQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – As evacuees from the Dog Head Fire begin to return home Tuesday, they’re taking time to thank the many men and women who worked tirelessly to stop the blaze.
“I want to thank all the firefighters, the sheriff’s department, the National Guard,” said Janet Barclay, resident.
As you drive along Highway 337 you can see a lot of handmade signs letting firefighters and others know their hard work is very much appreciated.
At one point, nearly 1
