Detectives investigating child’s death in northwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque police say detectives are investigating the death of a child at a northwest Albuquerque apartment complex.
Police say officers were dispatched Wednesday around 4:30 a.m. to the complex near Irving and Golf Course.
The Albuquerque Police Department initially said the call was in response to an altercation that resulted in severe injuries to some involved and a Violent Crimes Unit was called out.
