Dept. of Corrections: Clarification needed for cult leader’s release

TAOS, N.M. (KRQE) – The weather caused problems for a hearing in Taos Tuesday for cult leader Wayne Bent.
A judge recently decided Bent, who’s in prison for inappropriately touching a teen girl in 2008 should be released early.
The judge had to call into her courtroom Tuesday because she’s snowed in.
This hearing was to clarify the release plan for Bent who is seven years into a 10-year sentence.
