Deadly crash closes U.S. 550 in Sandoval County in both directions

SANDOVAL COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – U.S. 550 is closed in both directions near mile marker 22 in Sandoval County due to a deadly crash.
Sheriff’s deputies say it happened around 10:30 on Friday morning in San Ysidro.
NM Roads is cautioning drivers, saying slow downs should be expected.
Sandoval County Fire Department is also warning drivers to avoid the area until at least 2 p.m. due to a major accident.
No further information has been released at this time.
