DA drops charges against woman connected to veteran’s murder

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – All charges have been dropped against the woman connected to the murder of an Army veteran at an ATM in Albuquerque.
Veronica Trimble claimed she was just along for the ride when Matthew Chavez allegedly shot to death 24-year-old Tyler Lackey in an attempted robbery.
Lackey’s family is outraged.
Trimble was expected in court Thursday to see if her charges would dropped.
