Crouch Mesa residents concerned about water problems

FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) – Residents in northwestern New Mexico say they’re concerned about their drinking water after having to live with a boil advisory and intermittent shortages for more than a month.
State regulators and officials with the AV Water company fielded questions about the Crouch Mesa water crisis during a meeting Thursday in Farmington. About 6,400 customers are served by the utility.
The Daily Times reports that problems stem from the company’s treatment plant.
