Crews searching for two groups of lost hikers

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they assisted with the search of two groups of missing hikers Saturday night.
A spokesman from BCSO said that they launched their helicopter to assist with the location of two groups of hikers, one near the Sandia Crest and another on the La Luz Trail. The helicopter was able to locate the hikers and relayed their respective locations to ground teams.
No information yet on if teams were able to reach the hikers.
