Crews respond to multiple brush fires in San Juan County

NEW MEXICO (KRQE)– Fire crews along with the Tactical Operations Center are responding to multiple brush fires in San Juan County.
Officials say around 1 p.m. Sunday a total of four brush fires broke out on the west side of San Juan County.
Two of the fires have since been extinguished.
The largest of the brush fires, known as Motor Pool Command, is currently burning near mile marker 25 on US 64. The blaze has charred approximately 50 acres and is not currently threatening any structures.
