Crews extinguish fire at recycling yard

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Crews have extinguished a fire that started early Saturday morning.
Officials originally believed the fire to be a brush fire. However, they have confirmed that the fire was at the metal recycling plant just north of 2nd and Rio Bravo.
A spokesman for the Bernalillo County Fire Department said that the fire started at about 6:00 a.m. Saturday and was burning on the piles of recycled material at the recycling yard. He said about 25 firefighters were dispatched to
