Crews contain Comanche Fire in Manzano Mountains

MANZANO MOUNTAINS, N.M. (KRQE) – The Comanche Fire that was reported Thursday afternoon burning in the Manzano Mountains south of Albuquerque has been fully contained.
Cibola National Forest officials said the Comanche Fire was called contained at 1 p.m. Friday afternoon after Thursday’s heavy saturation from air resources and hard work from ground crews Friday.
